Wow...time is flying by...13 days left before this little monster comes out. Hilary is feeling unbelievably uncomfortable these last couple of weeks. Stay tuned...
My friend Jeff just sent me over this link for a salad that is supposed to induce labor within 24 hours.
let's see if it happens. I haven't shown Hilary yet...HEHE
I can't believe it...7 or so weeks left and I become a father of a new baby boy! Middle name=Anthony (after gramps). First name...still up in the air, but Hilary has informed me that it will not be Tony, Joey, Vinnie, or Vito...so I continue to dig...
I hear a scream in the office today and the girls are jumping up saying they have ants on their legs. Under one desk is a full army of little ants. One of them (Sue) decides that the best way to take care of them is to grab the dustbuster (do they still make those?) out of the kitchen and suck them all up. They got most of them up in the first pass. I know what you are all thinking now..."What happened to all of the ants in the dustbuster?", right? Well, they all live in the kitchen now. See what I have to deal with everyday?
Going again this year...3rd in a row! This year we are staying in a larger condo on the beach and the first weekend Laura and Pat are coming down to hang out with us. Then on Monday, Andy and Ang will bring the kids down to join us for the rest of the week. Apparently, Andy and I are going to try and play tennis (let's see how the shoulder holds up) while we're there. Maybe even some golf too if we can get away for a morning. Pictures coming...http://www.resortquestdelaware.com/
Yes, I took about 10 pies in the face last week. We raised $180 as a bunch of our employees filled up pie tins and smashed them in my (and a few others) faces. PS> hint: whipped cream doesn't mix well with Acuvue Oasys contacts.
OMG...they are so right about what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...Although the people I went with last time (Mom and Stacie, our purchasing manager) decided to spill the Vegas beans to everyone at work. Oh well. I can't wait to sleep that trip off...5 hours sleep in 2 days is not fun. I'll post the United Airlines mess later.
I've been drinking really good Cabernet, usually California, over the past year and recently I have been reading in Wine Spectator that Bordeaux is the way to go now. I have a stash of some Cabernet in the cellar (Quintessa, Joseph Phelps Insignia, Silver Oak, etc.) and now that an average bottle is over $100...I'm thinking that I need to start buying good Bordeaux for $20 and store some of that...??? Apparently 2005 is the best Vintage since 1961...WOW. I'm going to grab some this week. I'll keep you posted.
Finally home

I cannot believe how fast the trip flew by... cliche but true. Tom and I
had a pretty event-less flight home from Paris, stopping in Madrid, and
returning ...
